Organization Overview

FilAm Creative (FAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of Filipino-Americans in media and entertainment. We achieve this by producing events, educational programs, and the annual FilAm Creative Film Festival, which showcases diverse talent and stories.

FilAm Creative is firmly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. While our mission focuses on elevating Filipino and Filipino-American voices, our programs, events, and submissions are open to all regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or background.

Event Participation

Our events and educational programs have consistently featured speakers, panelists, and participants from a wide range of backgrounds.

Award Selection

All awards, including Community Honoree recognitions and film awards, are based on merit, measurable contributions, and alignment with FilAm Creative’s values, with no requirement that recipients be Filipino/FilAm.
