In a world where diverse narratives, particularly those of Filipino origin, are often overlooked, FilAm Creative leadership dreamed of creating a space for telling untold stories and amplifying underrepresented creative voices.

The next FilAm Creative Film Festival will be in September 2026.

Projects must meet at least two (2) of the following criteria:

  • A director of Filipino heritage

  • A writer of Filipino heritage

  • A producer of Filipino heritage

  • A cast of predominantly Filipino heritage

  • A Story that centers on the lives of people of Filipino heritage

We do NOT require all five.

We do not require that everyone be Filipino/Fil-Am. We welcome diversity and inclusion.

Filipino Heritage means Filipino diaspora (Filipinos in the Philippines, Filipino-American, Filipino-Canadian, Filipino-British, etc)
