I was stationed at the door to check people in. Backed by a security guard, it was an easy task. Once everyone arrived — with no surprise or inappropriate plus-ones — the celebration officially began.

Thanks to the efforts of FilAm Creative team members Angel Quinsay, Alex de Ocampo, and Amiel Noble, Filipino Forces’ Rembrandt Flores, and Gold House execs Caroline Delfin and Jeremy Tran, the room was filled with FilAm trailblazers from the worlds of entertainment and business.

It was the perfect occasion to remind us all, which Angel did during her speech.
